Luxury Yacht Cruise Area

The Racha islands are located approximately 18 km south of the starting point of your luxury yacht cruise, Ao Chalong on Phuket. In comparison to the very popular Phi Phi islands, the two Racha islands can almost be called an ‘insider’s tip’, making them an ideal destination for a relaxing luxury yacht cruise away from the crowds.

Due to their relatively isolated location far away from the mainland, the Racha islands are blessed with crystal clear waters, colorful reefs and an abundance of tropical fish. This island group provides some of the best snorkeling experience of any island in close proximity of Phuket.

Racha Yai

Koh Racha Yai is the bigger island of the two (Yai meaning big in Thai) which houses a small number of resorts, one of them being “The Racha” – one of the leading 5-Star resorts in Thailand. Koh Racha Yai (or Raya Yai) is renown for it’s beautiful white sandy beaches. Additionally worth mentioning are Siam Bay, Ao Tawan Tok and especially Bungalow Bay, a U-shaped bay with a sandy beach and crystal clear water that is perfect for swimming.

Racha Noi

This island is a perfect destination for a yacht charter. Koh Raya Noi is a uninhabited rocky island with difficult access to get ashore. However, it provides several secluded coves to moor the yacht in to relax surrounded by stunning scenery and to snorkel the beautiful reefs the island is fringed with. Located on the southern tip is a stunning little beach with a sand bar connecting to a rocky outcrop when the tide is right. This is one of our favorite destinations to bring our guests to on their luxury yacht cruise.

Between Koh Racha and Phuket there are several tiny islands such as Koh Hey, also known as Coral Island, which provides a convenient possibility for a stop over on the last leg of your luxury yacht cruise to swim and snorkel in privacy.

9:30	Departure from Ao Chalong Pier
10.30	Arrival at Koh Racha Noi. Explore you own private beach, go swimming and snorkeling or relax on the yacht with your own choice of music.
13.00	Your freshly prepared chosen lunch menu will be served on board.
15.00	Departure for Koh Hey / Coral Island
15.40	Enjoy your time swimming and snorkeling at Coral Island or take a sea kayak. Have the chance to watch the Hornbills coming back to their nests in the evening
16.45	Departure for cruising back to Ao Chalong pier.
17.00	Transfer back to your hotel
