History of this Super Yacht
The design for this vessel was done by Sparksman and Stephens New York office in 1998. The hull was laid up on a Chinese shipyard in 2000 and the project was abandoned in 2001 half way through the construction. Chris Lenz, a restaurant legend from Hong Kong bought the hull in 2008 and had it moved to Phithak shipyard in Thailand. Here the boat was finished with contemporary upgrades regarding the pilot house, her welding was redone to comply with ABS standards and all systems have been updated to 2010 standards. All this, because Chris had some great plans for her in mind.
After the yacht’s launch in 2011 Chris sailed her with his family down to Indonesia, then returned and headed west and up through the Red Sea to the Mediterranean. They visited several European countries and then crossed the Atlantic Ocean. They sailed through the Caribbean and up the U.S. east coast towards Chris Lenz’ birth place: Thunder Bay in Ontario / Canada.
To reach this destination they had to sail through St. Lawrence River and the Great Lakes. After the reunion of the family the yacht was sailed to Panama where the family is living now but the boat continued under its experienced captain to finish her epic journey with a full world circumnavigation ending in Phuket in Thailand.
